WRS Student Readers 1-3 Available in Braille
In an effort to help serve the blind and visually impaired community, Wilson Language Training Corporation has given American Publishing House for the Blind Inc. (APH) permission to publish Braille editions of the Wilson Reading System Student Readers. WRS Readers 1-3 are now available in Braille and can be ordered from the APH website www.aph.org or by phone: 800.223.1839.

WILSON Fluency^® /Basic Receives Strong Review by the Florida Center for Reading Research
The FCRR recently released a report on WILSON Fluency/Basic, stating the program shows “no weaknesses”. WILSON Fluency/Basic provides additional reading practice allowing students to gain accuracy, speed and prosody.

Online WRS Advanced Word Study (Steps 7-12) Coursework Now Open for Enrollment to Wilson Academy
Following the success of the WRS Steps 1-6 online course, we now offer the Advanced Word Study course (WRS Steps 7-12) on Wilson Academy.

Rochester School Teacher Receives National Recognition, Scholarship
Wilson Language Training® has named Marla Kleinman of Rochester, NY, as recipient of the 2009 Sharon Parks Memorial Scholarship for Wilson Level II training. The annual Sharon Parks Memorial Scholarship is a national award presented to one teacher who demonstrates dedication to the Wilson mission of helping students become fluent, independent readers. It was created in memory of the late Sharon Parks, an enthusiastic, conscientious, and concerned Wilson trainer.

Great Neck Administrator Honored with National Award
Wilson Language Training® has named Terry Horowitz of Great Neck, NY, as recipient of the 2009 Mary Ann Bonneau Administrator Award. Each year, Wilson recognizes one dedicated school administrator with this national award which commemorates the late Mary Ann Bonneau, an educator from the Worcester (MA) Public School District. Terry exemplifies the professionalism and compassion that embodied Mary Ann’s commitment to making literacy a possibility for everyone.

Saint Joseph's University Master's in Special Education Program Announces Partnership with Wilson Language Training
In March 2009, Saint Joseph's University's Online Master's in Special Education: Response to Intervention program will be collaborating with a third party, the world-renowned Wilson Language Training Corporation. This partnership will allow students enrolled in the Saint Joseph's University's Online Special Education Graduate Program to become certified as Wilson Reading System® teachers.
